The <struct> series is dedicated to visual infrastructural studies. It focuses on the documentation – whether photographic, cartographic or artistic-research – of rural and urban spaces, of technical and (post)industrial environments, of inconspicuous and less inconspicuous architectures.
Edited by book designer Reinhard Schmidt, the series places particular emphasis on visuality, materiality and design as well as on the potential of the book medium as an aesthetic carrier of knowledge.
