Pierre-Héli Monot, David Bebnowski, Sakina Shakil Gröppmaier, eds.: Activist Writing (Mono 02)
Mono is a paperback series with an eye on original and creative scholarship in the history of science/knowledge/technology, science and technology studies (STS), political economy, environmental and labour history, media studies, and adjacent fields.
The books in the Mono series are published both as printed books and on the web (open access). The underlying hybrid publication platform was developed in collaboration with gta Verlag, Zürich. It consistently interleaves online publishing (open access) and the printed book – conceptually, infrastructurally, and in terms of graphic design.
The first volume, Der Ingenieur: Grammatik eines Hoffnungsträgers by Robert Leucht was published in February 2022 and, together with Vitruvius Without Text: The Biography of a Book (gta edition) was named one of the Most Beautiful Swiss Books of 2022 (awarded by the Swiss Federal Office of Culture).
We enjoy working and thinking with authors and look forward to receiving manuscripts, exposés and/or project ideas (German, English, French): redaktion@intercomverlag.ch
